Also new photos of still-standing landmarks, signs, etc. 20th Century (focusing primarily on mid-century, but other pre-1990s stuff may be included as well) . I focus heavily on tourism in the region and I hope this will inspire people to hit the road, explore the highways and get to know the people outside of your city. |

NotesI snapped this one shortly before they took down the old sign for this historic restaurant in the Hollywood district of Portland. You can see the stripped down restaurant building in the background. It was in process of being converted into a Key Bank. There is also a closer look at the building after the facade was stripped off. The restaurant was opened in 1940.
